As reported by the Indianapolis Business Journal Daily, the average rate for 30-year mortgages rose slightly from 4.45 percent to 4.5 percent for the week ending March 13, according to Bankrate.com. The rate for 15-year mortgages rose from 3.46 to 3.51 percent.
